As part of their Global Schools Program, which aims to empower schools and teachers globally to educate youth on the SDGs, SDSN Youth is launching the Global Schools Ambassadors Program.

The program will equip young leaders with knowledge of SDGs and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) tools to help them transform learning environments at the local level. The vision of the program is to generate interest about sustainable development in schools in an effort to educate and engage students with the SDGs and to encourage them to prioritise the goals in their lifestyles, behaviours, education and professional careers as these goals provide framework for a better world that children could live in the future.

Passionate, motivated and hardworking young people between the ages of 18-29 in Australian and New Zealand (as well as a number of other countries) are invited to apply to serve as Global Schools Ambassadors. The position description is available here, and applications close on 31 July 2017.

For additional information, please see the Global Schools website.
