Partnering with people and organisations involved in addressing the SDGs in the “real world” can significantly enrich and strengthen education for sustainable development (ESD) content and programs in higher education. The aim of this session is to share inspiring examples of cross-sector partnerships for ESD from our region, and explore the benefits of pursuing such partnerships, good practices for making them work, and opportunities for scaling them up.

This webinar is a follow-up session of the ACTS & SDSN AusNZPac 2025 Regional Forum: Putting Education for the SDGs into Practice in Higher Education, which took place in March and April. It aims to continue the Forum discussion on how SDG 4.7 – which calls for all learners to acquire the knowledge and skills to promote sustainable development – can be practically implemented in our region.
