Call for EOIs: Showcasing Aus/NZ/Pac education for SDGs initiatives
As part of our ongoing Mainstreaming Education for the SDGs in Higher Education Session Series, SDSN AusNZPac, ACTS, and PRME AusNZ are looking for examples from institutions in the region on a range of related topics to showcase in upcoming sessions this November and next year.
The topics are:
- Integrating education for the SDGs into the learning outcomes and assessment of disciplinary courses/units (in any discipline or area of study)
- Undertaking an institution-wide (or faculty-wide) SDG-related curriculum review and integration process
- Scaling up co-curricular, student experience, and capstone programs focused on the SDGs
- Incorporating student input into the design of education for the SDGs programs
- Building the capacity of HEI staff – including educators, institutional leaders, researchers, and other professional and academic staff – to understand and address the SDGs and sustainability in their work
- Integrating First Nations perspectives into education for SDG initiatives
If you are doing work in these areas, or know someone who does, please let us know by submitting an EOI through this form. This round of EOIs will close on Monday 26 September.
The purpose of this session series is to bring together the higher education community in our region – including higher education leaders, education for sustainable development experts, and educators from all disciplines – to share and discuss good practices, challenges and opportunities for scaling up education for the SDGs in the Aus/NZ/Pacific region.
