Networking with other young people

At COP27, SDSN Youth AusNZPac organised two Asia-Pacific Youth Meet-ups and an SDSN Youth meet-up (pictured left). These were some of the highlights of COP27 for many youth in attendance! Meeting other youth activists is not only empowering but made COP27 a little less overwhelming – knowing that there are friendly faces around!

Sharing our position statement

Before we left for COP27, we helped organise the SDSN Youth Asia-Pacific position statement based on what young people from our region want achieved at COP27. At COP, we shared this statement far and wide! From policy makers and NGOs to other youth activists, people all over the world were able read the position of youth from our region.

Platforming the voice of youth

Isabelle spoke on two press conference panels at COP27, both surrounding what can be done to elevate the voices of youth. (you can watch one of the press conferences!)

Isabelle was also interviewed in an Instagram live stream on SDSN Youth Hong Kong’s page  and interviewed by Eco-business.
