SDSN Australia/Pacific welcomes new members
SDSN Australia/Pacific is welcoming four new SDSN members to the regional network. They are:
- Council for International Development, NZ
- Pacific Institute of Public Policy, Vanuatu
- RMIT University, Australia
- University of Melbourne, Australia
The new members strengthen the regional diversity and breadth of expertise of the existing members:
- Australian National University, Australia
- Canberra Urban and Regional Futures, University of Canberra, Australia
- Centre for Social Responsibility in Mining, University of Queensland, Australia
- ClimateWorks Australia
- Curtin University Sustainability Policy Institute, Australia
- Institute for Sustainable Futures, University of Technology, Sydney, Australia
- James Cook University, Australia
- Monash University, Australia (and Regional Network host)
Participation in SDSN Australia/Pacific is open to universities, research institutions, foundations, civil society, and other organisations in the region that have deep expertise in one or more areas related to sustainable development, and who commit a substantial amount of their own technical and research work towards finding and/or implementing solutions for sustainable development. Organisations must first apply to become members of SDSN. The SDSN Australia/Pacific Secretariat welcomes inquiries from prospective members and can assist in the application process.
