How should Australia respond to the 2023 UN SDG Summit, which highlighted that, at the mid-point to 2030, the world is considerably off track on the SDGs, and called for redoubling and accelerating our efforts to achieve them?
This discussion session is inviting stakeholders from all sectors to come and share their experiences, successes and challenges with implementing the SDGs in Australia to date, to help distill lessons and plan for how we can accelerate action going forward. The discussion will take place under Chatham House Rules.
This session is part of a series of events reflecting on where we are in Australia at the mid-point of the SDGs, and discussing how we can accelerate action, including.
- 11 Oct 2023: Public lecture: Jeffrey Sachs: Leadership for Sustainable Development (hosted by MSDI/City of Melbourne/SDSN AusNZPac)
- 12 Oct 2023: Workshop: The SDGs at the mid-point (1): How should Australia respond? (hosted by SDSN AusNZPac)
