On February 12 2019, SDSN Youth brought together leaders and representatives from youth organisations and initiatives in Australia in a forum to examine the critical role of young people in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In March 2018, SDSN Australia/Pacific co-hosted the second high-level multi-stakeholder forum to advance national implementation of the SDGs in Australia. The Summit Outcomes Report is now available.

Director of SDSN, world-renowned professor of economics and leader in sustainable development, Professor Jeffrey Sachs visited Melbourne in October 2018 to deliver a public lecture hosted by Monash University and SDSN Australia, New Zealand & Pacific.

SDSN Australia, New Zealand and Pacific and the Australasian Campuses Towards Sustainability (ACTS) have been recognised for their work on "Getting Started with the SDGs in Universities" as part of the 2018 Banksia Sustainability Awards.
