Membership

SDSN is global network of knowledge-generating institutions advancing knowledge and solutions to the Sustainable Development Goals. Together, and through regional and country networks, we work to promote high-quality education and research collaboration for sustainable development, and localise and mobilise local support and solutions for the SDGs. Institutions in the Australia, New Zealand and Pacific region that join SDSN also become members of the SDSN AusNZPac community.

Becoming a member

Membership in SDSN is free and open to not-for-profit institutions (not individuals), including universities, research institutions, foundations, or civil society groups. Members have to be involved in research and/or education, have deep expertise in one or more areas related to sustainable development, and commit a substantial amount of their own work towards finding and/or implementing solutions for the SDGs. They should be well-established institutions, having been in operation for over 5 years.

For more information about the benefits and conditions of joining SDSN, visit the global SDSN membership page. To apply for SDSN membership, simply complete the online application form and submit. Your applications are reviewed on a quarterly basis.
