Knowledge X Change | USA, AusNZPac Collaboration
Join the United Nations SDSN Youth AusNZPac, SDSN Youth USA, SDSN Youth Canada, and SDSN Youth Mexico for a Climate Education Knowledge X Change! This virtual event will feature guest speakers who work in climate. Attendees will discuss their own experience with climate at their universities, and contribute to a student position statement detailing the need for improved climate change education in universities, in particular with a focus on climate justice.
We are looking for passionate students from our networks to help us!
Your participation will help shape climate education across the world!
Date: May 4th North America | May 5th Pacific
Time: 8pm EST | 10am AEST (Convert to your local Time Zone)
Event will entail:
- Guest speakers working in:
- Climate education
- Industry and looks to hire new employees who have an climate education
- As well as students who received a climate education
- Workshop creating a position statement about what youth want in terms of climate education that will be shared with universities internationally.
