SDSN AusNZPac and the UN Global Compact Network Australia urge the Australian Government to support efforts to strengthen global cooperation at the upcoming UN Summit.

This new SDSN AusNZPac / ACTS group aims to support and accelerate member efforts to mainstream education for sustainability and the SDGs within their institutions. The group is holding four sessions in 2024.

As part of ICSD 2024, we would love to hear about examples of programs to support mission-oriented research from around the world!

Members of SDSN AusNZPac and ACTS are invited to a discussion forum examining best practice & emerging trends in higher education SDG reporting in our region.

You can now view the recordings from this November's sessions exploring how we can scale up education for the SDGs in higher education in our region through leadership, disciplinary integration, and other approaches.

As part of the Mainstreaming Education for the SDGs in Higher Education session series, we are looking for examples from the Aus/NZ/Pacific to showcase as part of upcoming forums.

Members of SDSN AusNZPac came together on on 7 June for a network(ing) forum on how our institutions can support and grow research for societal challenges and the SDGs. The recording of member spotlight presentations is now available.

This open workshop on 22 June, part of our Accelerating SDGs Practice Initiative, will look at the challenges and benefits of using the SDGs framework in the HE context.

In the light of the increasing focus by higher education institutions on embedding the SDGs into the curriculum and in further developing the capability of our ESD change leaders, please join us on 5 Apr for an online review of the sustainability.edu.au site.
