Event: SDGA16 Conference

SDSN Australia/Pacific is contributing to the multi-stakeholder Sustainable Development Goals Australia 2016 Conference, which aims to raise awareness, foster opportunities for partnerships and catalyse local Australian action around the SDGs.

The Conference will bring together academia, business, civil society, government, NGO, and youth to highlight priorities, identify actions and reveal collaborative practice. It will be an opportunity to:

  • Hear how the 2030 Agenda and the Paris Agreement on Climate Change, will shape Australia‚Äôs environment, economy and society.
  • Discover what different stakeholder groups are doing in Australia to scale change and implement the Goals.
  • Identify our biggest opportunities and challenges and deep-dive into each of the 17 Goals.
  • Exchange disruptive ideas, connect and collaborate so to chart an Australian SDG pathway that inspires current and future leaders to act.
